Bringing the sea and the culture of the port to all children and young people dealing with illness so that through play they can find moments of serenity and relaxation.
This is the mission of Porto dei Piccoli , a foundation founded in 2005 by Gloria Camurati Leonardi. Starting out in a department at the Gaslini Institute in Genoa, over 19 years of activity it has involved over 270,000 children and young people in various Italian regions and established partnerships with some of Italy’s leading pediatric centers.
The Porto dei Piccoli serves every child, regardless of their medical condition, paying particular attention to the entire family unit.
